What Is the CAGA Tour of Greenbelt?

The Tour de Belt event page describes this annual ride as a fully supported, scenic cycling experience that loops around Harrisburg’s Capital Area Greenbelt. Riders of all ages and skill levels come together to explore the city’s unique blend of urban landscapes, riverfront views, and peaceful park trails. This event typically spans approximately 18–20 miles, forming a complete loop around Harrisburg and connecting multiple neighborhoods and natural spaces.

Participants can expect a well-marked and supported route with rest stops along the way. There will be a finish line celebration with local vendors and orgs.  The event begins and ends at Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC), making it easily accessible for families, advocacy groups, and cycling enthusiasts alike.

The Capital Area Greenbelt is a vital community asset—a roughly 20-mile loop trail that connects parks, neighborhoods, and historic landmarks throughout Harrisburg. 

This trail provides:
