Recycle Bicycle - Harrisburg
Recycle Bicycle is a community organization nestled in downtown Harrisburg that provides education, bikes, and a community space to the neighborhood. Led by founder Ross Willard, this group supports the local community by teaching skills around bike maintenance and repairs. Folks are engaged to earn a bike through training. Piscitello Law has supported Recycle Bicycle for the past five years and looks forward to collaborating and supporting this amazing group for many more years.

The history of Recycle Bicycle began in 2001 when Ross Willard was a volunteer at a community event and discovered that children’s bikes did not have properly functioning brakes. He began to repair bikes on his own and collecting used bikes. The momentum and demand for recycled bicycles continued to grow over the years until Ross had literally created a community of devoted volunteers to work on this mission. By 2019, the nonprofit purchased a property on 1722 Chestnut Street in Harrisburg and became a permanent and beloved member of the community landscape.
