Cycling League
Danville, PA | May 3, 2025
We were thrilled to present a Bike Law & Safety Seminar to the 2025 coaching team for the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League (PICL). The annual coaches retreat was held in Danville, PA, and their schedule was filled with interesting speakers and chances to hear about best practices in coaching.
Through our seminar, we raised awareness on how to keep group rides safe and provided tips on how to handle a bike crash. During our discussion on common bike crash scenarios, we learned that many of the coaches had experienced their own crash in the past or narrowly avoided a crash. With safety of athletes and coaches being top of mind, we spent some time discussing the importance of having proper auto insurance coverage for the student athletes and coaches as well.

The theme of the coaches retreat was “Being A Champion Teammate,” and speakers focused on how to develop a culture and mindset of champions in your team. Prior to our seminar, we were lucky enough to hear their keynote speaker, John O’Sullivan. John is nationally recognized in youth sports, founder of the “Changing the Game Project,” and is a three-time best-selling novelist.
As the PICL community continues to grow throughout the state of PA, Piscitello Law is happy to be a resource of support. It takes many mentors and advisors to nurture and support young athletes and the community that surrounds them. We are grateful to be a trusted part of this PICL family.
