Webinar for Susquehana Greenway Partnership, Lewisburg, PA
February 16, 2022
Thanks to Cory Ellison, ED of Susquehana Greenway for the invitation to present a webinar to their Middle Susquehanna Active Transportation Committee on February 16, 2022. That Committee has been engaged in improving road and street safety in the region of Lewisburg, PA and was involved in getting Penn DOT to update the 4-foot law for Pennsylvania.
The Committee wanted to discuss efforts they could pursue as a group to advance cycling and pedestrian safety in the region. Indeed, during the webinar, Piscitello Law and the MSATC members discussed ways to talk with local police to better inform them of bicycle laws. They also discussed sharing Bicycle crash information resources to local bike shops.

Susquehana Greenway
The Susquehana Greenway is a 500 mile region connecting parks, trails and communities along the Susquehana River throughout Pennsylvania. The Middle Susquehana Active Transportaion Committee finds ways to productively connect these points along the Susquehana corridor. The ultimate goal is to be able to make connections to facilitate walking, paddling, or biking from town to town along the river. How cool is that goal??
